A permanent system capable of processing and burning switchgrass at 12.5 tons per hour is planned, along with a 2,000-ton continuous co-firing test.

    The Keep Cool Air Conditioner Bounty Program reduces peak demand for electricity by encouraging customers to purchase Energy Star®-certified air conditioners and to recycle old units. Energy Star® air conditioners meet the highest standards for energy efficiency as approved by the Energy Star® program, a joint venture of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy.
