Innovative Approaches to Climate Change: A State and Federal Workshop

On February 25 and 26, 2008, the Pew Center on Global Climate Change, in collaboration with the Pew Center on the States, hosted a workshop focused on state and federal action in response to climate change. The event brought together legislative staff and officials from both the state and federal levels to share their experience developing climate policies, and to discuss the appropriate roles of each level of government in implementing future national policy. Keynote speakers included Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico, Governor Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota and Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts.
